Description:

We are seeking a Senior Plant Operations Manager in our San Jose, CA Eggo plant. As the Senior Plant Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for balancing short-term tactics and long-term strategy. You’re not just a manager; you’re a mentor. Inspiring, guiding, and elevating our people – after all our people are our greatest advantage.

In San Jose you will be the culture owner – you’ll infuse safety, quality, and organization into our every day. As part of our plant leadership team, you’ll navigate change, build trust, and secure buy-in. You are not only managing processes, but you will also manage people, production, quality and performance.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Results: You will develop and implement a comprehensive operations program, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Work to maximize efficiency and assure peak plant performance by overseeing the
  • Operations team’s performance. You will utilize operational metrics to foster visibility and alignment.
  • Think Big: Lead, manage, and direct the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) initiatives and Continuous
  • Improvement initiatives. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. You will help our team grow and learn as you coach and develop leaders on the Kellanova Work System, look at employee performance development, recognition, compatibility, and employee progression / readiness.
  • Do it the Right Way: Promote safety across the plant. Investigate production processes and recommend improvements to ensure that needs are met. Prepare and adhere to the established operations budget, monitoring departmental expenditures, including all production and labor cost centers, supplies, outside services, and departmental labor.

 

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Managerial experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with leading and applying lean principles in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
  • Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations
  • Collaborative work style, able to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance
  • Demonstrating an owner’s mindset

 

Compensation Insights

  • Salary Range: $184,600-$276,900
