About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee accounting functions, including system evaluation and update, collaboration with multiple locations and departments for financial analysis, and monthly tasks such as inventory management and payroll accruals. Responsibilities include processing daily transactions, ensuring tax compliance, maintaining fixed assets schedules, and preparing annual filings. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in accounting principles are required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting or related field.
• 3 – 4 years of accounting experience in a related industry or accounting firm.
• Experience with QuickBooks and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Expected skills:

• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Aptitude for process improvement and system optimization.

Benefits, compensation and work location

The work location is San Francisco, with the potential of a hybrid work model.

The base salary range for this role is $79,000 – $98,000 taking into account numerous variable factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational requirements.
