An essential SFMade partner in creating more equitable access to good-paying jobs in San Francisco
The Walter & Elise Haas Fund and SFMade have partnered since 2012 to provide low-income San Francisco residents with access to jobs and opportunities in the city’s manufacturing sector. We are deeply thankful for their renewed support this year!
The Walter & Elise Haas Fund believes economic security and upward mobility can be achieved when low-income individuals with barriers to employment gain the skills and access necessary to secure stable jobs with opportunities for advancement. SFMade agrees!
Over the past decade we have developed deep and trusted relationships with manufacturing companies and formed partnerships with community workforce organizations, which has fueled our work to connect individuals to good-paying jobs. More recently, through our Next Generation Training Program, we have provided skills training and placed low-income individuals for jobs in the sector in partnership with our training partner Humanmade. This work would not be possible without the support of the Walter & Elise Haas Fund. Thank you!
