We’re thrilled to announce that two YouthMade interns were hired by SFMade companies!
Kenneth was hired by T-We Tea to work at the store in the Crocker Galleria and Carol was hired by Timbuk2 to work in the indirect sales department. Both are headed to college in the fall.
Carol and Kenneth were part of SFMade and Juma Venture’s YouthMade program, which connects low-income Bay Area youth to meaningful paid internships with local manufacturers. This summer over 30 interns are working at SFMade member companies through YouthMade and our partnership program with Untited Way’s MatchBridge.
