Next Level Strategies is a local HR and Recruiting Consulting firm that specializes in helping small businesses. Founder and CEO, Julie Chendes, will cover important issues such as: Covid/safety requirements, paperwork requirements, defining exempt and non-exempt employees, defining independent contractors, a variety of wage and hour issues such as meal and rest breaks, what you can and can’t ask during an interview, harassment prevention information, discrimination issues, final check and termination requirements, and much more!

About our presenter:

Julie A. Chendes, SPHR, Founder and CEO of Next Level Strategies.

Julie’s 24 years of experience spans work in the high tech, non-profit, and marketing industries. Julie holds an M.S. in Human Resources Management, a B.S. in Public Relations, and a Human Resource Certificate from San Francisco State University. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as certified by HRCI. Julie taught seminars and consulted with clients at the San Francisco Small Business Development Center, and served on the Board of Directors of Instituto Familiar de la Raza for eight years.
