Our talented and highly experienced operators design and build products for the defense, aerospace, automotive, medical, and semiconductor industries. Our shop is equipped with leading-edge machinery, tools, and knowledge. We have the capacity to produce parts from a wide range of materials. We specialize in aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, stainless steel, and plastics. We offer high-quality CNC milling, CNC turning, and 5-axis machining.

 

The Position

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team as programmer lead. This position will be responsible for programming complex 5 axis prototype parts. Managing the programming team and continuous improvement to the programming dept. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with an aptitude to improve with a can-do attitude and perform in a fast pace prototype environment. We produce parts to a wide range of sectors including Semi-Conductor, Medical, Aerospace, and Home Defense. Our facility is filled with only the highest quality equipment and maintained to an immaculate clean/safe environment for all of our team members. Prior knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry is required.

 

Job Duties (But not limited to):

  • The intent to learn and grow with your team and the company
  • Manage internal due dates of jobs and programs
  • Contribute during contract review and management meetings
  • Prototype & Production approach Programming on Cam
  • Produce clear set up instructions for program hand off
  • Perform Set Up on 3/5 Axis Milling Machines (Fanuc Controls).
  • Produce quality parts to blueprint specifications
  • Interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Verifies correct manufacture of parts by utilizing measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, verniers).
  • Resolve machining or quality issues
  • Planning, strategizing, and selection of cutting tools/work holding/fixturing

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5yrs experience CNC setup experience
  • Minimum 5yrs experience Programming with MasterCAM
  • Prototype and Production manufacturing experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T
  • Ability to work with close tolerances as tight as +/-.0001
  • Firm understanding of milling tools and ability to determine appropriate feed and speed
  • Problem solving with company’s team
  • Must be able to retain and convey complex information relating to job
  • Attention to details, Analytical Skills, Team Work, and Communication Skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • Must be permanent US resident

 

Desired Experience

  • Experience with Fanuc
  • Experience with MasterCam/Fusion 360
  • Experience with quality inspection and CMM operation
  • Experience maintaining machinery and work centers through preventative maintenance programs

Compensation and schedules:

  • The position will be full time Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $40-60/hr (Depending on Experience)
