The position

We are looking for an experienced Vertical Milling CNC Machinist Level II to join our team. As a predominately prototype shop this role will have great potential to learn higher skill level for growth. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with an aptitude to improve with a can-do attitude and perform in a fast-paced environment. We deliver beautifully produced parts to a wide range of sectors including Semi-Conductor, Medical, Aerospace, and Home Defense. Our facility is filled with only the highest quality equipment and maintained to an immaculate clean/safe environment for all of our team members. We will train the right person on 5 axis machining if you are looking to advance your skills. Must be able to read a blue print and have basic understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate vertical milling 3/5 Axis CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Assemble parts into finished products as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) such as profile, positions, flatness, run out, etc…
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation and benefits:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
• Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
