About us

Pepito’s Paletas is a minority woman-owned CO-OP business blending traditional Mexican paletas with healthy vegan recipes. We deliver fresh, made-to-order gourmet paletas in our 8-hour Frozen Signature Box, eliminating plastic and freezers. We make our paletas in San Francisco and we do fun Pop-Up’s for Special Events.

We are an incubator, and we empower women through hands-on training in business and marketing, helping them achieve their entrepreneurial dreams—whether that’s owning a Pepito franchise or starting their own venture. We share in the profits and support their journey, fostering a new generation of leaders committed to healthy, sustainable options.

Position Duties

• Receive, review and organize ice pop orders based on packing lists
• Training of the frozen incubation process related to fruit products
• Select the appropriate ice pops for each order, verifying flavors and quantities
• Maintain optimal temperature conditions while handling the ice pops
• Pack orders securely and neatly for delivery or pickup
• Track inventory during the order preparation process
• Keep the workspace clean and organized
• Unpack Frozen Product
• Organize orders and maintain cleanliness

Requirements

• Ability to work at changing work environments – Pop Ups for Special Events at various sites
• Must be Punctual to work, ability to follow directions and care to do a good job
• Physical ability to lift, stand, load and unload supplies and materials
• Adhere to all San Francisco Food & Safety Rules and Requirements
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs., deliver products and materials, set-up and move/stand for duration of shift(s).
• Ability to stand, physically load and unload Ice products

Compensation and schedule

• Hourly Wage: $20 per hour
• 20 hours per week
