Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales., the full-time Inside Sales Coordinator’s responsibilities include leveraging the company’s current database of leads and prospects to generate sales opportunities for the company. The emphasis is on providing brand awareness, excellent customer service and after sales support including providing product information, assisting with order placement, in addition to general office functions.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  •  Maintaining and expanding database of leads, prospects and customers with a combination of sales emails and calls
  • Search and contact new potential buyers/dealers in North America
  • Emphasize service or product features and benefits, discussing credit terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales orders
  • Handle cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with related departments
  • Assist with sales / marketing / administrative support

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Local-based around San Francisco
  • Approx. 2-3 years in a sales/ customer service environment
  • Pet or gift industry experience helpful
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • “Can Do” attitude; highly motivated with a desire to be successful and high standard of accountability
  • Driven and results oriented, meeting KPIs to achieve corporate targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Articulate and professional, representing our brand to head buyers and key decision makers
  • Service/sales-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel and represent P.L.A.Y. in 2-3 domestic trade shows a year
  • Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office and Outlook
