$23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Description

What began over twenty years ago as a dream of bringing together fresh, handcrafted beer and made-from-scratch, world class cuisine – is today a reality at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants from coast to coast and across the Pacific to Hawaii and Taiwan.

 

Under direct supervision, this entry-level position is responsible through strict attention to detail for safely monitoring, cleaning, maintaining, sanitizing, and operating brewery equipment; reporting safety concerns up the chain of command; assisting brewers, quality control, and maintenance departments; and maintaining data to support plant efficiencies, quality and consistency.

 

Minimum Qualifications: the ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Hands-on and mechanically inclined
  • Significant understanding of the brewing process
  • Preferred:
    • One (1) or more years of experience working in a brewery, winery, or beverage production environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Fermentation Sciences program or the equivalent.
  • Required: Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status
