We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join our team at
Matter of Trust. As the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and
optimizing our day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality
across all departments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to
streamline workflows and maximize productivity.
- Oversee and manage the overall operational activities of the company, including
supply chain management, inventory control, production planning, and facilities
management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance
and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and customer
service, to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication across
departments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other
external partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and
services.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve
operational efficiency.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards and ensure
customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and
support to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
related to operations management.
- Continuously evaluate and upgrade the company's operational systems and
technologies to keep pace with evolving business needs.
- Ability to learn how to felt recycled material textiles with intention to improve
processes where possible.
- Managing felters, sorters, packaging, shipping
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of operational best practices and processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and
inspire others.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make
data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
