I run a small vegan packaged food business out of a commercial kitchen in Bayview San Francisco. I’m seeking part-time assistance producing and packaging my product, which I sell to grocery stores across the Bay Area.
This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the packaged food industry while contributing to the creation of delicious vegan products.
Job duties include:
– Peeling and slicing carrots, mixing up marinades, packaging the product, and using a vacuum sealer
– Basic kitchen cleaning
Requirements:
– Interest or Experience in Vegan Cooking: a passion for or experience in vegan cooking is highly desirable as well as knowledge of vegan ingredients, recipes, and cooking techniques.
– Kitchen Experience: While not mandatory, prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred. Experience with packaged food production is also a plus.
Pay:
– $20/hr
– 4-8 hours/week
