Job Description

About The Aesthetic Union

The Aesthetic Union is a San Francisco-based letterpress print shop. Everything is made by hand in the studio using our vintage letterpress machinery. Custom work is at the heart of what we do. The shop has long been a space for community and collaboration, and we love bringing our clients’ ideas to life through the art of letterpress.

The position

We are looking for a part-time human being to join our team at the Aesthetic Union as our shipping & retail associate! As you may know, we are a letterpress print shop specializing in custom work and original editions. We offer letterpress and foil printing and in-house design services for those seeking one-of-a-kind results. So we believe in encouraging a creative workspace and we love collaborative projects and community involvement.

This role may grow to a full-time position for the right candidate! Hours are generally regular, but we are flexible and can work around certain schedules. Our ideal candidate will have most of the skills and attributes listed below, but we will also train you on our specific shop operations.
