Martin Sign Company, founded in January 2012, we are a sign shop known for its high-quality craftsmanship and rapid growth, the only company of our kind in San Francisco. Specializing in all types of signs—from large-format digital printing to dimensional letters (illuminated or non-illuminated) to ADA signs—our team brings over 50 years of combined expertise to every project. We focus on quality, creativity, and attention to detail, working closely with interior designers, graphic designers, architects, commercial real estate brokers, contractors, restaurants, and other retail businesses to enhance their visibility and appeal. POSITION SUMMARY

We are expanding our team and looking for a Production Technician. The ideal candidate is an artisan or craftsperson who will help us fabricate stunning visual communications that make a difference in people’s everyday lives. The Production Technician focuses on fabricating signs and graphics for corporate campuses and construction sites throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

We will teach you what you need to succeed! We seek individuals eager to learn and be part of a team that builds great products. The more you already know about graphics and sign making, the faster you will impact our company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, layout, and apply vinyl graphics
• Perform sign assembly and ensure precise installation
• Provide valuable support during field service operations

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles
  • Knowledge of sign-making materials and processes
  • Proficient in basic computer operations
  • Skilled in using hand tools and operating simple machines and equipment
  • Experience in reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Experience:
  • Three years of experience in the sign industry is preferred
• Personal qualities:
  • Positive attitude and a beginner’s mindset
  • Dependable, hardworking, and energetic
  • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a field environment and interacting with various stakeholders

COMPENSATION:

• We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
• $25 – $35 / hour
