The position

The Senior Test Technician reports directly to the Director of Operations, who is responsible for performing tests and inspections to evaluate the quality and performance of products and equipment. He/She interprets quality standards, engineering diagrams, and product specifications, then executes tests accordingly. He/She also troubleshoots and repairs failures and defects. He/She is also responsible for creating and optimizing the Flying Probe program and creating coverage reports to be sent to the customer. He/She will support ICT equipment, fixtures, and programs, working with the supplier for any issues. Work with the Test Engineer to perform process developmental and materials testing, collect and record data, prepare samples for study, and issue reports based on the research.

Responsibilities of Senior Test Technician:

• This position will be responsible for engineering and manufacturing projects
• Test equipment realization, set-up and validation, asset tag assignment, calibration planning.
• Validating test requirements and times for quoting.
• Create, Debug and Optimize Flying Probe Program.
• Responsible to ensure collection of pass/fail test data
• Help debug failures not limited to Flying Probe and/or ICT testing
• Solution provider for test equipment failures, improvements, enhancements, or gaps

Requirements of the Senior Test Technician:

• High School Diploma and relevant experience required; AA degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years experience supporting Test operation and Equipment
• Experience and knowledge in electronic industry preferred.
• Familiar with testing tools and testing softwares
• Need to know how to read and understand schematics and customer’s test procedures
