The Technical Marketing Manager will contribute significantly to Allied Telesis’ success by driving solution adoption, increasing market share, and building strong ecosystem partner and customer relationships. This position will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between product development and sales, ensuring that solutions are effectively positioned and marketed to meet customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify target audiences, understand their needs and analyze competitive landscapes. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Provide technical expertise to support the development of marketing campaigns, ensuring that technical accuracy is maintained across all marketing channels.
Work closely with engineering, product management and sales to ensure alignment on product development and marketing strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers and customers to gather feedback and understand market trends.
Develop compelling solution positioning and messaging that differentiates the company’s offerings from competitors.
Create various marketing materials, such as whitepapers, case studies, presentations, and blog posts, to educate and engage target audiences
Develop technical content to support sales and revenue generation.
Support regional sales teams to engage with prospects and secure new deals
Support Marcom team to implement marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive demand for the product or service.

Experience, Skills & Abilities:
5+ years of relevant experience in technical marketing, product management or product marketing.
Ability to engage with engineering and derive marketing messages to maximize product sales.
Proven track record of successfully navigating the target market segments.
Technical knowledge of key products/services within these segments.
Strong understanding of the relevant industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Ability to effectively analyze and optimize the value chain of the target market segments.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Education / Training:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
