Job Duties
CRAVE is looking for a detail-focused high-motivated individual who would be working in our small R&D center and micro-factory in San Francisco helping produce and ensure the high quality of our pleasure products. You are someone who is looking to learn more about the many aspects of product development and manufacturing. As part of a small team, you will be working in a dynamic environment and will be wearing many hats and responsibilities. You take pride in your work in helping to support our mission to produce high-quality products that empower beautiful experiences.
What you'll do:
-Hand assembly of a variety of types of mechanical and electrical parts.
-Test finished products for defects, conduct basic troubleshooting of product failures, & document.
-Help manage inventory for products, components, and tools used for assembly processes.
-Assist with office operations & building management.
-Assist in product shipping/fulfillment during busy times of the year.
Job Requirements
-Previous experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment.
-Organized, detail-focused, and self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
-Has a high problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
-Has good communication skills.
-Ability to work well with hands.
-Fast learner who is not afraid to ask questions.
-Demonstrated experience working with and around power tools, hand tools, electronic equipment such as soldering irons, drill press, etc. Must be able to use sound judgment and good decision-making in the use of such tools.
-Must be able to follow technical instructions and interpret engineering drawings to discern the quality of parts and materials used in production.
-Basic computer skills such as email, excel, word processing. Will be responsible for record keeping, inventory management and form filing
Skills/Experience Preferred
-Be able to work with engineers to create technical documentation and processes.
-Looking for a company that offers opportunity for long term growth.
-Experience with CAD tools such as Solidworks, Onshape, etc.
-Experience with BOM management & change order tools such as Arena.
Compensation
$18-$22, DOE
