SFRAW was founded in 2003 by an idealist with the goal to help animals, humans, and the environment by improving the health and wellness of all beings through nutrition and natural husbandry.

SFRAW is a member-supported community of people that feed raw or cooked fresh food diets to their pets.

We offer our own brand of expertly developed unique locally-made pet treats, prepared raw pet foods, herbals, supplements, and natural remedies (SFRAW Apothecary line).

If you feed raw, cooked, prey-model, BARF or other styles of fresh food DIY based diets, we have a HUGE variety of high quality meats, bones, offal, prepared foods, seafood, seasonal products, books, sundries & supplements.

Our inventory includes a well-curated selection of exceptionally high quality, unadulterated, truly wholesome, nourishing, nutrient dense, whole food ingredients.

Job Duties

Customer Service/Member Services and Retail Sales/Cashier that will be responsible for:

- Helping customers in-store, online on the phone and email
- Responsible for perfect order fulfillment with lots of communication with members for their orders, constant restocking
- Eye and skill for merchandising
- Capable and efficient cashiering
- Willingness and ability to assist with some production such as making treats, putting on labels, packing and portioning receiving incoming products,
entering invoices and maintaining SKUs in store on our POS and on the website.
- Basic clean-up, including daily tasks for opening and closing such as trash, set-up, keeping everything tidy, some dishes, etc.

Job Requirements

- MUST LOVE DOGS! That’s important.
- Mission driven company with a passion for what we do and how we do it.
- Outstanding level of customer service, professionalism, reliable, hard-working, always on-time and able to keep busy – there’s LOTS to do.
- Love to work as part of a team, willing & able to support our shared goals as a company is very important.
- Working in cold environments (walk-in freezer/cooler)
- Lifting up to 40-lbs, and repetitive production work involved/required

Skills/Experience Preferred

- Interest and knowledge in regenerative agriculture, paleo/keto diets, natural foods, passion for local foods/natural foods would be ideal!

Compensation

$18-20 an Hour
