Job Duties

The Role
The Warehouse (Logistics) Technician is an integral position within our supply chain. This person must be able to balance the needs of fulfilling daily picks throughout a variety of inventory while conducting their job in compliance with the safety standards at our facilities.

The Responsibilities:
Facilitate inventory control for all finished goods, including tagging, wrapping, stacking, and reorganization of product
Execute daily picks of finished goods according to FIFO and LIFO principles as required in a timely and safe manner
Assist with the transfer of dry goods and raw materials between Fort Point facilities
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles & 53' semi-trailers
Uphold organization and material handling standards within all facilities
Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse, including facility management and equipment cleaning
COVID-19 duties: to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, all Fort Point employees must follow COVID-19 safety protocols and will be provided with personal protective equipment and supplies as needed

Job Requirements

The Requirements:
Ability to lift at least 180 lbs. (kegs), and 50 lbs repeatedly, and be able to push/pull up to 3,000 lbs. using a pallet jack
Ability to climb on and off delivery vehicles when loading/unloading
Physical ability to stand up to 8 hours a day, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, walk, crawl, push and pull items weighing up to 180 pounds repeatedly
Valid CA Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
Courteous, professional and polished demeanor
Prior work experience in a warehouse
Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
Excellent verbal and written communication
Positive, helpful attitude
Forklift usage (training provided)
Pallet jack usage (training provided)
Ability to move box trucks within shipping yard (training provided)
High level of attention to cleanliness and quality
Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions

Skills/Experience Preferred

The Hours of Work (Schedule rotates):
Early AM Shift: 5am - 1:30pm (M - F)
AM Shift: 7am - 3:30pm (M - F)
Evening Shift: 1:00pm - 11:30pm (M - Th)

Pallet jack (Powered & Manual)
Manual and automatic pallet wrapper
Box truck


$18 - $22 per hour
