HAMAMA is the subscription service empowering anyone to grow healthy, sustainable food at home no matter the season, location, or their skill level. HAMAMA’s first product line is a just-add-water Grow Kit that makes growing superfood microgreens at home easier than making a cup of tea. The power is in the Seed Quilt invention, HAMAMA’s patent-pending seed packaging that controls watering, humidity, and light access. Customers pour 3 cups of water into their Grow Kit, add a Seed Quilt, and harvest a week later. They use their homegrown microgreens in salads and smoothies or as a healthy and beautiful garnish for any meal. HAMAMA was founded by two MIT mechanical engineers who are passionate about the power of indoor agriculture to improve the health of both people and the planet.
