Job Duties
We are searching for a motivated, dependable person to train in metal smithing and antique restoration skills.
- Silver soldering/ brazing
- Low temperature soft soldering
- Welding
- Metal fabrication techniques
- Use of metal smithing hammers and stakes and related hand tools
- Lamp restoration and repairs
- Polishing / grinding
- Sandblasting
- Basics of electroplating and oxidation
- Shop maintenance
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Documented to work in the US, without sponsorship
- Valid ID and social security card
- Ability to follow direction
- Good attitude, willingness to learn ew skill and work well with others.
Skills/Experience Preferred
- Prior metal working experience
- Antique restoration
- Familiar with light fixtures
Compensation
$19-$25 per hour, DOE
Benefits
End of year bonus, 401K
Hours
Full Time or Part Time, Monday - Friday
