Job Duties

Fort Point Beer Company is seeking a People (Human Resources) / Payroll / Benefits Manager. This is an opportunity to work with an exciting company that values hospitality, including internally to our colleagues. This manager supports the strategic planning and execution of all People team activities, and is expected to maintain and grow expertise as an HR generalist. In addition to traditional HR, this manager will be responsible for processing payroll via a 3rd party provider and managing inbound payroll inquiries from employees, as well as acting as a liaison with our employee benefits broker. This role works within a fast-moving environment; a successful People/Payroll/Benefits Manager must be agile, responsive, skilled at prioritization, detail-oriented, and a superb communicator with a high EQ.

In this role you will work directly with the Director of Finance, and the Finance and People teams, and across all departments.

- HR Compliance
- COVID policy updates and communication
- Candidate and Employee Lifecycle, including Onboarding, Leaves of Absence, and Separations
- Payroll Processing and Administration
- Oversee and maintain optimal function of HR and Payroll Software Systems
- Work with Leadership Team to refine policies and procedures for documentation and archiving
- Manage inbound employee communication to Payroll and People inboxes
- Liaise with 3rd party providers (software systems, benefits brokers, insurance carriers, etc.)
- Manage employee perks
- Employee record keeping
- Employee IT asset management

- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application

Skills/Experience Preferred

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- HR Certification highly preferred
- 3+ years experience in similar field
- Software competency in: Google Suite products (gmail, sheets, docs), Microsoft Office, Apple computer skills
