Ape Do Good is a full-service screen print shop. We've been printing garments for 20 years in San Francisco's mission and soma district. We do everything in-house which allows us to oversee the jobs from start to finish. Our clients are mostly local and have been printing with us for a long time. We are a small family-run business and maintain a crew of 6-8 people who work closely with each other daily. Having a small crew requires staff to help each other with tasks as needed, but it also fosters trust and camaraderie within the workspace.
In accordance with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records for employment.

Job Duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Press set-up/ tear down plus maintenance
- Loading and off-loading garments from the press
- Maintain consistent print quality and make press adjustments as needed
- Ink mixing - pantone and water based
- Oversight of production schedule
- Meeting print deadlines
- Delegating necessary tasks to your team
- Assist in maintaining smooth production flow
EQUIPMENT:
- 6 color manual press
- 10 color auto press
Job Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- You work well within a team
- You are a good communicator and collaborator
- You work well in a fast paced environment with deadlines
- You are available M-F from 9-5:30
- You are reliable and punctual
Skills/Experience Preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Familiarity with screen printing press equipment is preferred. Transferable skills will be considered, willing to train the right applicant.
- You are knowledgeable about all aspects of screen printing
- You are able to set-up a job, run it, and troubleshoot print issues
- You are able to maintain consistently accurate prints
- You are familiar with water-based ink/discharge
- Basic computer skills
Compensation
$18-24/hour, DOE
