Job Duties

The Production Facilities Manager reports directly to the Product Manager. The Production Facilities Manager’s primary duties are production, distribution and merchandising of fresh and packaged food products to store clients. They will oversee the overall operations at the manufacturing facilities, and is responsible for the compliance to federal and state regulations on health and safety.
Roles/Responsibilities

Oversees the overall production line and packaging process
Oversees deliveries & inventory
Submit accurate daily delivery roster to accounting
Liaise with production team and vendors to align production needs
Orders supplies & ingredients as needed
Maintains clean and safe work employment for employees in compliance with safety and health regulations
Manages employee schedules & other managerial duties.
Oversees & monitors production safety, housekeeping, quality control, productivity, employee conduct & performance
Assists Product Manager to ensure team member training & adherence to compliance including food safety, OSHA, SOPs, HAACP, and all local, state, and federal laws
Develop efficiencies in production flow & inventory flow
Maintain sales relationships with retail buyers regarding product placement, sales, quality, etc.

Job Requirements

Ability to acquire a Manager ServSafe Certification
California Driver’s License, with a clean driving record
Must possess proficient verbal and written communication skills

Skills/Experience Preferred

Ability to work independently with attention to detail
Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
Desire to learn about the Natural Foods products space
Previous experience in retail or foodservice beneficial
GMP & HACCP Training

Compensation

$50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
