Job Duties
• Operate state-of-the-art EFI H1625 hybrid flatbed printer, Summa router/cutter, HP L260 large format inkjet printers, and Ricoh 9110 Digital Press.
• Pre-flight incoming jobs and set them up for printing using Fiery RIP system.
• Operate bindery equipment: cutters, folders, puncher, etc.,
• Coordinate with production manager and complete daytime projects due the next day.
• Close the facility in the evening, during which time you will work independently for several hours (after training).
Job Requirements
• Organization, planning, and project management skills.
• Attention to detail in performing Quality Assurance procedures at various stages in the workflow.
• Good communicator and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to handle heavy loads in excess of 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and ability to physically stand and walk around facility for long periods of time.
• Comfort with basic computer and technology skills and able to learn new programs easily.
• Mechanical aptitude to effectively operate automated equipment.
Skills/Experience Preferred
• Experience with a business-to-business digital printing center (e.g. FedEx Kinko’s, FastSigns, Sign-o-Rama, Staples, Copy Central, Office Depot, CopyMat, Allegra,
MinuteMan, Sir Speedy).
• Familiarity with Acrobat Pro and RIP/Fiery software.
• Operational expertise of all aspects of digital printing: estimating, inventory management, pre-press, production, & binding.
• Ability to step in for Manager as needed.
• Covid vaccination strongly preferred.
Compensation
$17 - $23 per hour, DOE
