Topology Eyewear

Topology Eyewear Website
Our mission is to provide every individual with the tailored eyewear solution they deserve to achieve the clearest vision.

PRECISELY CRAFTED IN THE U.S.

We make every pair of frames, one-at-a-time in San Francisco's Design District.
When you place an order, your future eyewear begins its journey at Topology headquarters in San Francisco. Your personal measurements are precisely cut from the best Italian acetate, or surgical stainless steel, then assembled with your custom lenses, before being finished with a polish—all by our team of eyewear production specialists.

A NEED FOR SOMETHING BETTER

When it comes to eyewear, one size does not fit all.
After tiring of the poor fit, red marks, pinching, rubbing and slipping that come with off-the-shelf “stock” eyewear, Topology founder Eric Varady set out to disrupt the status quo by enabling custom-tailored eyewear.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Embrace individuality.
Too often, products are designed for the least common denominator. We started Topology with the ethos that individual people deserve unique solutions. We don’t just accept individuality, we embrace it.

Consider every detail.
In our industry, the details matter. For people that measure in millimeters, it’s hard for us to overlook a single detail in anything we do. From every hinge on our frames to every line of code we write, we strive to get it right.

Be a tool for empowerment.
There’s power in feeling comfortable. Whether that means seeing more clearly, or having every tool at your disposal as an optician, we want you to see Topology as a means to feel comfort and power every day.

Equal Opportunity Employer. Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, women, gender non-conforming people, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ people, veterans, and adults of all ages are strongly encouraged to apply. In accordance with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records for employment.
