Job Duties

The Warehouse Clerk is the primary shipping and operational go-to person in our San Francisco manufacturing and distribution facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate outbound shipment of all products and goods in our San Francisco headquarters. Your job will also include assisting the Receiving, Warranty and Inventory personnel with loading and unloading trucks, order fulfillment and process maintenance. This is a service-oriented position and includes interfacing daily with all cross-functional teams at Timbuk2.

Essential Functions
 Responsible for all outbound shipments in San Francisco headquarters.
 Create commercial invoices for all international shipments.
 Maintain relationship with key shipping vendors and identify areas of improvement.
 Troubleshoot problems with systems to maintain operational stability in shipping.
 Identify areas for improvement in process, supplies and contribute to the environment of continuous improvement.
 Resolve discrepancies in shipping documentation or fulfillment process as orders come through.
 Develop and improve processes to increase efficiencies and reduce errors as well as to define standard operating procedures.
 Occasionally assist Receiving and Warranty Clerk with duties as assigned.
 Generation of UPC labels.
 Replenish inventory of accessories and shipping consumables.
 Daily printing of ECOM orders, retail store orders, and gift certificates.
 Execution of customer service requested order cancellations, order changes, and swatches requests.
 Perform manufacturing order and fulfillment transactions.
 Keeping 5-S. Shipping area clean.

Job Requirements

 High School Diploma
 Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office software and basic computer programs.
 Ability to learn new tasks and applications quickly and easily and perform the duties associated with the position with a high degree of initiative.
 Solution oriented attitude and willingness to identify areas for improvement and implement process change.
 Strong attention to detail when preparing shipping documentation, domestic and
international
 Skills to communicate clearly at all levels- verbally, written and face-to-face.
 Must be able to learn how to drive a Fork Lift.
 Must understand UPS and USPS shipment service levels.
 2+ years experience in a similar Shipping, Receiving or Inventory Clerk position is not required but a plus
 Knowledge of documentation requirements and standards for domestic and international shipments not required but a plus
 Experience using FedEx or UPS Worldship not required but a plus
