Job Duties
Responsibilities
- The Taproom Manager is responsible for all aspects of the taproom operation, including:
- Managing/scheduling/supporting the taproom bartending team
- Opening up, closing out, and maintaining cleanliness of taproom, inside & outside
- Draft operation including tap line maintenance
- Operating the payment platform, and managing the profitability of the taproom
- Tracking weekly sales and inventory, and working with Production and Sales to ensure accurate forecasts
- Managing Taproom vendor relationships
- Working with customers, staff, and the broader Bay Area community to plan & execute events
- Working with the Marketing team to market the taproom and East Brother Beer Company
- Providing excellent service, ensuring that all of our customers have a great experience with East Brother Beer
Job Requirements
Qualifications - Required
- Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and remain organized & effective in a bustling environment
- 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry, but will consider transferrable skills from other industries
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Working nights and weekends
- Must hold TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification or obtain prior to starting work (with the assistance of East Brother Beer)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Skills/Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years experience managing a team in any capacity
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Excel
Compensation
$45-55k/yr BOE
