- Position is Entry-level,
Primary responsibility is to provide operational support to the Heath warehouse by maintaining stock, packaging support, and transfers of all Heath items. Assist in the processing and documentation of all incoming retail shipments, and work with the store staff and shipping staff on cycle counts and replenishment of both Heath Home and dinnerware.
_ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; escalate safety concerns to Warehouse Lead or Warehouse and Shipping Manager
_ Keep all stock areas organized and clean, free of any excess packaging
_ Maintain stockroom efficiency by helping to unload trucks and receiving merchandise
_ When helping to receive, ensures Warehouse Lead receives any/all packing slips, and is advised of any damage or discrepancies
_ Ensure inventory balances remain accurate by proper communication and completion of documentation as required
_ Advise Warehouse Lead or Warehouse and Shipping Manager of shortages or discrepancies so that inventory can be kept accurate
_ Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally, focus on teamwork
_ Maintain a secure warehouse environment for company-owned products and have an awareness of loss prevention
_ Help prepare stock transfer for weekly deliveries which includes pulling items, auditing, and packaging when needed
_ Ensure all products are packaged to specification and are meeting all Heath standards for QC
_ Desire to work in a warehouse environment and to be “hands on”
_ Excellent people skills: must be patient, flexible, and calm
_ Excellent communication skills both written and oral
_ Ability to enhance a team
_ Proficiency with basic Mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Physical Requirements (Medium to Heavy)
_ The ability to transport finished goods (up to 30 lbs. at a time). Total weight lifted per day can be 3500 to 5000 lbs.
_ Other activities, including climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, repetitive motion, grasping, and feeling.
Visual Acuity Requirements (including color, depth perception, and field vision)
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and inspecting shipments; visual inspection involving small defects, small objects, and/or operation of packaging equipment (including inspection); using measurement devices; and visual checks of materials and machinery (dimensions, weight). The worker will also need visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Warehouse roles may require a colorblindness test before start of the position.
An ideal candidate has very good attention to detail, works rapidly and is always mindful of quality. MUST follow safety procedures. Must have a positive attitude and foster a team environment. MUST be willing to learn from experienced personnel. Good communication skills are required.
