Urban Manufacturing Alliance
SFMade is a charter member of the Urban Manufacturing Alliance, a network of similar organizations in other major US cities dedicated to the development of urban manufacturing. The UMA creates a platform for cities to exchange best practices about key areas including land use planning; regional supply chains; and workforce development. Members of the UMA gather annually for a Convening and participate in Affinity Groups to advance ideas about supporting urban manufacturing.
